stiverne and wilder top 2 in WBO now...

so they could end up fighting but it would be a final eliminator for the WBO title. they could bypass arreola entirely. stiverne could be the mandatory for both klitschkos. this could leave arreola(#2 WBC)\Jennings(#4 WBC) fighting for the vacant WBC belt if vitali retires. this is all hypothetical but things really changed after leapai beat boytsov. charr & perez are now 4 & 5 in WBC. the picture has gotten interesting. the HW division has some intriguing potential matchups. strange thing is none of the fights that look entertaining involve the champions...

i'm interested to see where the WBO ranks leapai after that win. top 5 at least with 2 WBO regional belts & a win over it's mandatory challenger. tua was #2 when he held those belts, barrett & Cameron were top 10 & so was leapai before last night. who knows he could end up the mandatory which is insane but not out of the question. how many HW's in the top 10 of a governing body hold 2 regional belts & a win over it's #1? leapai could be next in line for a title shot! stiverne & wilder must be licking their chops!

I'd love to see Wilder and Stiverne get it on.

Lulz Jennings went from being ranked #39 to #4 in three months time without fighting. American promoters are sparing no corruption so one of their Heavyweights can win a vacant belt.

are you sure? I heard this before the fight but it was only 10 rounds & leapai's Asian\pacific belt was on the line. I have never seen a world title final eliminator only go 10 rounds.
