Pretty much sums it up. Imagine a prime Pacquiao from a few years ago getting his hands on Rios. No way the fight would have went the distance.

Manny looked fast and sharp. He did was he was supposed to do. It's obvious and anyone who has any idea of boxing knows Rios is a B- fighter at best. That's why they chose him. He's coming off a loss, slow, no d, but has a solid chin. This was his first fight at welter and only has 2 fights at 140. Since when was he a top 10 welter?

Pacquiao is an elite level boxer and Rios is just a decent fighter with a great chin. Put the two of them in the ring and you get the same result every time. Pacquiao is too good for Rios.

Neither. This was just a stylistic nightmare for Brandon Rios. Somebody who is very fast vs somebody who is very slow. I said this fight would look like the Margarito fight and I think it did.

I wouldn't say PAC is an elite boxer like many of the clowns are saying in this thread PAC is and still is a brawler with fast hands and foot speed that was in against a slow brawler that made PAC look better then he is.that was the whole point of this fight is to get the dummy's into thinking PAC is back. He sure as hell couldn't do this to Timmy or Marquez. This fight doest tell me anything about PAC except he couldn't pull the trigger to ko rios and his chin wasn't tested

Rios is terrible. Manny saw threw some combos and when Rios took them, he decided a wide decision would be a less dangerous way to go. Manny was just way too damn skilled and good for Rios, who looked out of his depth from the 3rd round on.

I won't comment on the fight because I didn't, nor plan to, see it. But from the moment this fight was announced, i knew Rios had no chance. Manny is elite, he's to the point where I expect more from him. So maybe this matchup was pointless to me. Reading what I've read thus far, i guess I was right on that assessment. But Manny is that good, and Rios isn't very good at all. I really don't know if I'd label him a C+ fighter
