Hamer was doin work for lil bit, thought he looked pretty decent. Then he got hit flush a couple times and he clammed up. He jus stopped moving and jus stood there frozen in from of Ruiz. I was yellin at the tv like move mf! Lol. He could've beat fat boy if he would've stuck to moving around. Ruiz is a slob, he would've gotten tired, Hamer just made it easy on him. Either way he looks like a punk quittin like he did. That was a bish move.

No dude, **** that. Nowhere in that fight did it spell trouble for Tor. He even had some success at times and hurt Ruiz. That was bull****. He basically robbed his promoter and the people who paid to watch.

He got paid and didn't even put effort into it. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even train one bit.

Good. If someone showed up to work and didn't do their job they'd be fired.

Hamer has shown he's got some real skill, if this was a Prizefighter fight he would have easily got the decision over Ruiz, just like he did over Johnson. But I do think its time to move on to being a pilot. Still, DiBella is an effin coward who is too chicken sh to say that stuff to Hamer's face, and the keyboard cowboy cowards on here are the same way. Hamer's brave for just getting in the ring, he's just got other options and is not willing to permanently endanger his health. I say good for him, although I do think it is time to move on to those other options.
you choose your profession. he is an educated man & doesn't need boxing to make money. he is 30 years old & he obviously isn't 100% in to the game so it's time to move on. boxing is a dangerous sport & he doesn't want to take too much punishment then this is not the sport for him. dibella should have done it more professionally. social media is not the way a promoter should release a fighter. that is gutless but I do understand how angry he would be. I ain't no keyboard warrior. I got a dangerous job I do every fuc*in day. 10 hours\day not just once every 6 months. I chose my profession knowing the dangers involved & so did tor hamer. he knows he's going to get hit hard. theses are big men hitting each other. lou dibella soaked money & time into him. he did everything he could to give hamer these tv opportunities. hamer retired on his stool on his own accord twice. this does not help dibella promotions any nor did it justify him getting hamer a primetime slot on an HBO PPV. hamer was brought in to be an opponent for ruiz. that slot could have went to another promoter's fighter but they chose him. he was getting a chance at redemption & he folded again. people paid $70 for that PPV & having a fighter quit on his stool so early is not what the fans paid for...

It is what it is ,Ruiz made him realize he didn't belong there . It's better than him taking a dive or running the whole time. I don't want to see a fight where one of them doesn't want to be there. We got to see 3 good rounds and we never have to see that dude again.

He had no problems in rounds 1-3 where Ruiz stood there doing absolutely nothing but as soon as Ruiz woke up in the 4th, Tor was through after that one single round.
