that's absolutely their intent. it's probably going to be in 2015, but i wouldn't be shocked to see it in late 2014 if ward and golovkin look spectacular in their next fights.

you don't need to sell a ton of ppv to make a lot of money. there's no eight figure garantee, the way you've got in a mayweather or pacquiao fight. chavez jr and martinez was on ppv, for instance. career high paydays. hopkins - pavlik. they're bigger paydays than regular HBO cards. much bigger.

HBO can only pay each guy so much for one fight. they have a finite budget for the year, and they can't soak the hwole thing up on one card.

Their worst than Germany, at least Sturm, Sylvester, etc. have lost decisions in Germany. When was the last time a English fighter lost a decision at home. I remember there was a ridiculously robbery in the Maciel v. Rose fight where most people had Maciel winning 9-3. Burns also robbed Beltran recently. That's 3 robberies in the span of 3 months...

Maybe. I guess Im someone who thinks boxing cuts itself off from the masses by sticking too many fights on ppv.

Our refs have been spooked by in ring injuries and are the worst in the world.

Groves was basically stopped because in his own words he has a reputation as being a chinny fighter.

Carl could have been stopped far more legitimately in round 1 and again in round 6. The ref knowing Carl has taken beatings in the past was more than happy to let him take another one. He wasn't prepared to let Groves get hurt at all.

                    It's all wrong.

His arm isn't the problem, it's his toe that gives him issues.
