I said that Groves was getting tired, which he was, and that Froch was coming strong, which he was doing too.

Bad stoppage but I agree, I think Froch was on his way to stop Groves. Groves was very tried and Froch was getting confident, but yeah the ref screwed it.

The stoppage was an awful one, but there wasn't a guarantee that either fighter would've won.

The ref robbed the boxers (and us) of the chance of a few classic rounds. Groves showed a good chin, and was always one punch away himself from wobbling Froch.

Didn't agree with the scorecards but that's never really a surprise anymore.

That was early on though. He clinched or guarded up and it worked. By the 9th he didn't hold much or guard up at all.

Great tactic of high guard because Carl doesn't punch straight but wide. Shame he got tired but he did a fast pace.
