Yeah, I noticed that too. He said he didn't remember being knocked down. Dude was hurt, and should be going to the hospital .

Froch did not look himself tonight. I think what Groves had been doing in the build up got to him mentally. He did not look as strong or as threatening as he normally does, and looked like he had no belief.

I agree, the stoppage was early, but I think Froch would have got him out of there in the next round or so.

In a rematch, I think Froch would be less affected by the mind games and probably fight more like his old self, the invincible iron chinned beast.

It's actually worked out better for Groves, now everyone is saying he was robbed when in all likelihood he was going to be stopped. Froch doesn't let people off the hook when they gas late in the fight.

Horrible decision to stop the fight. If the ref thought Groves was in trouble leaning against the ropes a standing 8 count would've been fair.

It was so funny that, after the fight, Froch began to lecture Groves... and then near the ring Froch continued to explain what he was not able to "explain" into the ring... with his punches...

So how was that different to what I quoted? Oh sorry, I missed the 'I' before 'bet.'

Still, I think I got the basic premise. And why would Terry O'Conner and Phil Edwards want to have a word with me exactly??

Go watch Kovalev vs Cleverly. O'Conner tried his hardest to give Cleverly a fighting chance, including holding him up from a KD and also walking him to his corner. Chisora vs Scott, the ref counted to 8, Scott got up and he waved it off. Again. typical British BS stoppage. Have you sen any of the Calzaghe "stoppages"?!? Go youtube them if you want a good giggle m8.

Agree, in that I don't think Groves was 'robbed' from a guaranteed win, Froch was coming on pretty strong tagging Groves more as the fight went on.

Whether Froch would've finished Groves is another matter, but considering the scorecards he'd have won the decision anyway.
