We'll see come fight night. Duran got knocked out cold face first (like Pacquiao) against Hearns and he rebounded his career pretty well after that. I hope Pac can do the same as Duran. we'll see.
Well, no, he really didn't. He was never out like Pac was out. He was trying to get back up from the very moment he landed on the canvas. He wasn't out in the truest sense of the word i.e. unconscious. He certainly got KTFO in your standard boxing terms though.

He went down, but he wasn't knocked unconscious like Pac. It's possible, though unlikely, he could have staggered to his feet by ten, but he would have been way too ****ed to continue and wouldn't have made it another second, but he was trying to get back up straight away. Not that it made a difference. Brutal shot.

A bigger forearm and wrists are not a sign of who is stronger. Felix Trinidad is a very small guy and William Joppy is much bigger body-wise in every area. But Trinidad hits so much harder same as Fernando Vargas.
Thomas Hearns is much smaller then Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Pipino Cuevas, and Wilfred Benitez but he hits harder then all of them. Power comes from the feet being planted and getting your body weight behind each blow. I was a boxer for a long time and know.

Clearly you don't know. Hearns started at 147 (welterweight) and was a natural, but ****ing huge, Jr Middleweight, Duran started at 118 (bantamweight) and was a natural lightweight.

Duran was 5'7", Hearns 6'2". Duran was fat and lazy at anything above 147, Hearns filled out and was still lean and very muscular at cruiserweight.

Duran is literally a midget in comparison to Hearns.

    Tito a very small guy.....?

Edit: just came to the realisation you're taking the piss. Running a bit slow today.

I think Rios had the flu. He was looking like sht when he departed from LA to China, you can see it on 24/7. His eyes where all puffy n red and his looked like that ever since. Hopefully its nothing too serious

Marg and Oscar were clearly, undoubtedly ****ed. Oscar was the worst case of weight drained I've ever seen in all my years of watching boxing. His body was so ****ed he needed IV all the way up to the fight and he still couldn't even put any water weight on. That's brutal.

Cotto was fine. He might have struggled getting all the way down a tiny bit, but I don't think it had any adverse effect on his performance at all. Margarito and Oscar though? I really don't think you can try to justify those two whatsoever. That'd be like saying Rios was fine against Murray and because he said he felt great, he was. Clearly wasn't the case, though I'm sure you're taking the piss.

Hmmm, that would really suck for him if that's the case. Gets the flu right before the biggest fight he'll ever have....
