    I don't think those weights are right. The previous article has Verdejo's weight as 134.4, and his opponents at 136 I think.

      Get it right.

      @Spoon,

      A bigger forearm and wrists are not a sign of who is stronger. Felix Trinidad is a very small guy and William Joppy is much bigger body-wise in every area. But Trinidad hits so much harder same as Fernando Vargas.
      Thomas Hearns is much smaller then Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Pipino Cuevas, and Wilfred Benitez but he hits harder then all of them. Power comes from the feet being planted and getting your body weight behind each blow. I was a boxer for a long time and know.

          I agree with the power comes from the feet, but it's common knowledge bigger wrist. Translate to harder puncher. Trainers look for that when finding a good boxer to train. Boxing 101. It's one of those tell tale signs.

          Bigger Wrist = sturdy fist

            Why does rios always looked so damn drained. Maybe he just gets too fat when he's not training

                Over scrutinization of a man's thighs and calves can lead you to places you may not want to go. Just sayin'.

                    Great weight for Pacman, 145 at his age right now looks good!
                    Rios looks trim at welter and his eyes look clear, I hope he can focus on task and make a great fight of it!

                    May the better man win and both boys be safe! Now "ring the damn bell"......
