Comments Thread For: Groves: Froch is Doing His Best To Tarnish My Name

Mandatory challenger George Groves, who is 11 years Carl Froch's junior, has been mocked by Froch for publicly revealing what he insists are his detailed plans to beat the champion, but claims he affords him plenty of respect. Froch will defend his IBF and WBA 'regular' super middleweight titles against the undefeated Groves in the main event of a major Matchroom card at the Phones 4U Arena in Manchester.

I don't remember anyone ever predicting that Groves would be knocked out in one round, against DeGale (the only fight of his where he wasn't a big favourite) or anyone else.

29 out of 31 "experts" picked Degale to win, almost all of them by stoppage. He was a big underdog in that fight.

These guys are still targeting Bute (!?!)...

Groves: "Bute will have to fight me, not Froch, if he wants his belt back,... Forget about Froch after this Saturday -- I will finish him..." (???)
