Manny just got knocked the hell out and they are still calling him a cherry picker? Logically wouldn't it be Rios the younger stronger fighter cherry picking the knocked out faded legend?

No I said its a tuneup-which it is.

I answered it the first post. Yes on paper it likely will be action/excitement and pac will get a ko win. That said, the standard you (specifically) and other posters have set for elite ww's is challenge.

The fight, with Rios at +425, doesn't meet that standard so I am criticizing it on the merits.

        No name calling, no bashing.

i still dont get the whole cherry pick fight thing.. rios have youth, hunger, power and chin. all pac has is experience, we still dont know how pac will perform after that crazy ko so we cant say his speed and power is still there.

They do it in retaliation from people saying floyd vs. Guerrero was garbage.

Pac could fight king kong and it would still be garbage to them, there is a video of a floyd fanboy who was giving a pac rios predictions snd he said he wasn't a fan of Pacman he finds him boring and he said maybe its because he doesn't got the swag I like lol.

they dont care about action or boxing they like swag and looks a real boxing fan will love action fights.
Ghost, at this point, wasn't as big an underdog as Rios. Something to consider. If fans liked action that much the toughman series would still be alive and FNF would have ratings out the roof. Think about it.

SOme are, yes. NO because Rios is a JWW, who lost his last fight, and has never fought at WW. Most posters doubt Bob/manny would pick him for this fight otherwise.

If you are going to cherry pick a comeback fighter after being knocked out cold, you would choose a pillow punching boxer who pot shots, and not an offensive dont give a crap brawling pressure fighter who will hit your chin and body.

Bernard Hopkins even called Pacman brave for taking Rios on after a devastating ko

Tomorrow is gonna be ugly. Both outcomes are gonna be ugly. If Pac still has some left in the tank he's gonna be like a bumble bee stinging Rios face. Rios has held up in previous fights but he's bound to get cut/swelled up.

On the other hand (which is thesiable) Pac is a human being and it can be a very hard psychologically to over come such a knock out. Pacs punch resistance could be terrible and Rios could knock Pac the F out

Lennox Lewis overcame getting knocked out anything can happen. Pac could be better than ever.

                    Pac-TKO/RTD
                    Rios- KO

This is a tune-up fight-a comeback fight after a loss agains an opponent who on paper doesn't have much of a chance to win.

I repeat it because you keep making posts like the one above where you, as a manny fan, pretend this fight is something it isn't. Can't we have a little honesty, please?

Besides, its a boxing forum to discuss upcoming fights. I haven't degraded this fight in any way.
