Hopkins and Provodnikov were the two highlights for me.

Very fun year though. I hope its leads to an epic next year where James Kirkland gets back on track, Cotto takes out Sergio, Wilder vs Fury slug it out, and GGG finally gets his dues. Maybe even hold out alittle hope for manny vs floyd!

Definitely an enjoyable year, some fights fell through but that's to be expected. Haven't given it too much thought, but I do remember feeling more disappointed in 2012 around this time, so I'll say this year has been better.

Best year of boxing I've seen. A lot of it is down to competition between HBO/TR and GBP/Shotime. Competition is healthy, it forces everyone to up their game.

Great year indeed, several fights where the best fought the best, several exciting fights, several talented fighters and downright killers emerged. Of course it also had its fair share of negativity, ducking, corruption, bad judging, and tragedies. But overall it was a damn good year.

I know people hate it but honestly Golden Boy moving to Showtime for all their fights has been mostly positive.
They were both fighting for HBO boxing dollars and 2011 and 2012 suffered for it. We have received a lot of good cards on Showtime and some really good fights on HBO that may not have seemed like good match ups at first (Bradley vs Provodnikov comes to mind).
Sure it hurts when these two promoters won't work together to make big fights but its not like that was happening when they were both mainly on HBO....
