lol! Maybe his version of a beatdown is Morales dead at PAC's hands.

Most people just never expected Morales to even come close to being knocked down, and let alone knocked out. I'm a Pac fan but I was one of those people. Don't worry bro, the "shock" factor of Morales getting KO'd will gradually sink into your head. It took days for me to fully realized I wasn't dreaming

It's not the end of the world, bro. Take a chill pill. Boxing is an emotional sport indeed.
I agree with you that boxing could be an emotional sport! thats for sure especially if a fighter fights for his fans like morales I remember when he beat paquaio the 1st time he went back to Tijuana Mexico and he bought so much beer and food for all the people that were waiting for him to celebrate, come on now who those that? that **** was cool. but your rught I was shocked when he got stoped tko'd (not K.o) lewis vs rahman 1 & 2 now them are some knock outs.

And what do you want dude? For Morales to fight the rest of the rounds? lol! You're a very funny kid.

Morales could barely stand up after the fight was stopped. He was walking on shaky knees and it's a sure shot if Morales would have been allowed to fight 2 more rounds, the results could have been disastrous and we may even say he could fall for the worst.

All becoz PAC aint gonna let his fate be on the judges' hands. He's gonna pummel Morales like crazy and Morales taking more of those shots could me PERMANENT INJURY on him.

Is that what you want? The guy could barely stand after the fight was stopped. lol! You're really funny.

lol! So the definition of a beatdown to you is Morales' dead. lol!

Ok, no more argument. You've stated your point.

Ya know, I'm a big Manny fan though I try to remain unbiased, especially since I get annoyed reading the biased posts about Manny. I've watched the fight dozens of times already. dep_violator covered it pretty good about Manny having to take shots to get in the body shots. I also feel this due to the southpaw angle, it makes it harder to get around to the body than a conventional fighter. Ultimately he was willing to take the shots so that in the later half of the fight, Morales's head would fall into Manny's hands pretty much. Some things I'd like to point out though if that in the 2nd round when Morales got hit by that huge straight left that sent him hanging onto the ropes, I think that right there is what killed Morales legs. If you notice when he tried flurrying and trading immediately after, he just looked so damn slow and groggy. I think his body never recovered from that shot that would have put any other person down or if Morales was in the center of the ring, would have put him down. His mind may have recovered to the point that he's just fighting on instinct, though his mind wasn't working with his body because he just didn't move like normal after that. Though an amazing thing is, even if he took a pretty nice beating from rounds 6,7,8,9, in the 10th round, Jim Lampley was saying how Morales was on a potential winning round. Now that's saying a lot right there. Sure it was the same round he was knocked out in and about 10 seconds after Jim said that, Manny cornered Morales and was firing body shots, though up to that point, Morales was still trying to box Manny and was effective to that point. It's saying a lot. Great fight, a rematch could be great though is it going to benefit or hurt Morales? Morales has to face and beat Manny if he wants to ever get back into the picture, and unfortunately that's easier said than done and I think he knows this. He has to take that 3rd fight even if he would rather say, Ok, the younger, stronger guy beat me, I'll take the loss and walk away.

Morales CANNOT HURT MANNY. If you can't hurt someone, and HE's that good you'll be in trouble. Stop wit the wishful thinkings, Pac destroys Morales again!

I watched the fight about 7-8 times cuz it was that good but
I notice Morale's movement and handspeed has gotten very slow.
It was the movement and handspeed I saw in Morales' fight vs. Raheem.
Everyone thought Morales was slow and dull cuz he moved up in weight and probably doesnt belong in 135 lb division.
So he came back down to fight Pacquiao 2nd time but his movement and handspeed looked the same as they were against Raheem.
His movement were dull, his handspeed just wasn't there,
no pop in his punches, he was just not the same fighter he used to be.

Pacquiao is a terrific fighter, probably my favorite fighter these days,
could've beat Morales at his prime, BUT
it was NOT the prime Morales that he fought couple weeks ago.
Even die-hard Pacman fans should notice this because it is no bull **** or excuse, it is just a fact.
Again, I said Pacquiao could've beat Morales in his prime, so don't jump on me for saying that Morales is not the same as what he used to be.

                  I think he should retire.

I would have loved to see the Morales that fought Barrera in their first fight, fight Manny. That woulda been good
