Last question about Morales - Paquiao

I know you guys are pretty tired of reading about morales and paquiao but I want to know what everybody other then the Paquiao fans think, Paquaio fans say that Morales got beat down and demolished and I seen the fight over and over and I think paquiao beat him fair and square and I was even surprised that the fight got stoped but I just dont feal that he got beat down as bad as they make it seem, maybe 2 rounds were lopsided but even when morales was loosing he was allways coming back. I think paquiao got the best of him in the later rounds and won them thanks to a couple flurrys he had but I just dont think it was a total beat down. what do you guys think? I'm I been bias? I want to know what everybody other then the PAQUIAO FANS think.

You are bias and this thread is quite ****** as it is already moot.

(Note) if you want intelligent comments post just intelligent threads.

Every round was a systematic beatdown. When you watch something use your eyes along with an open mind, not with your biases and pre-concieved ideas.

Every round was a systematic breakdown. The plan of PAC was to go to the body a lot in the early rounds and if you watched the fight, Morales got tagged with a lot of body shots. Yes he got PAC a lot also with his jab but the price he's paying is just too high. He got PAC with some jabs and straights but PAC merely shrugged and just fired back. In every 1-2 that Morales disses out he takes a reciept of about the same and as the rounds go by, PAC was just simply increasing his punch output and just walking past his jab.

Rounds 1,3-5 were Morales' rounds but it wasn't freebies. He was paying a high price for winning those rounds by eating a regular dose of straights and body attacks.

By the time round 6 happened, he was already softened up and ripe for the taking. When PAC sensed he was slowing down because of the body attacks, that's when Morales got into a world full of hurt.

From then on, it was a Morales' beating. Of course he had his flurries and counter-attacks but it only serves as an encouragement to PAC and you saw PAC's face telling Morales to punch him even more. Morales' had his flurries but even in those flurries he kept getting tagged.

Later in the rounds, PAC figured the predictability of Morales' jab and started to use a lot of lateral movement. Whenever Morales tries to jab, he gets tagged with a nasty right hook or flush coming from awkward angles.

In fact, Morales' jab has become quite useless and detrimental to him that EVEN HIS TRAINER TOLD HIM TO STOP JABBING TOO MUCH. Listen to what his trainer is telling him and you will see they already know that PAC is just playing with his jab.

All in all, the game was a systematic beatdown. PAC knew that Morales will soften up from his body attacks. He already foresaw that and he told that already months before the fight. Of course PAC has to sacrifice getting tagged by countershots. Afterall, going to the body is no freebie and Morales won't just stand there while PAC pummels his abdomen.

From rounds 6-10, it was all a beating.

You're in denial dude. Get over it.

I think everyone can agree that it was a GREAT fight right?

A great fight hppens when two fighters are both effective-Morales was effective and if you would have asked me who was going to win after 5 rounds I would have said Morales and so would most.

Keep in mind I desperately wanted PAC to win...the 6th round is when it officially started to change.

Great fight and there is no doubt both men had there moments!

Not trying to flame you or anything but I'm pretty sure it still hasn't fully sunk into your head that Morales was beaten and knocked out. To be honest, you're not the only.

Most people just never expected Morales to even come close to being knocked down, and let alone knocked out. I'm a Pac fan but I was one of those people. Don't worry bro, the "shock" factor of Morales getting KO'd will gradually sink into your head. It took days for me to fully realized I wasn't dreaming

It's not the end of the world, bro. Take a chill pill. Boxing is an emotional sport indeed.

I think these pictures will speak for itself. If this doesn't show that it was a total beatdown, then I don't know what will.
