I'm going to disagree. you won't find a bigger boxing fan than myself but I'd be streaming the fight. they don't deserve my money, not after the BS they pulled.

The fight was at its biggest after the cotto bout but since then since Pac has lost no one really wants it.

You and I both know this for us is a few years late but for the average fan its like 2009 never stopped..listen if they could sell Ortiz and Guerrero to the public they'll sell the hell out of this fight. IMO the promoters killed this fight with their greed in the first place...yet this isn't the kinda fight most people will ignore and not back in one way or another whether promoting it via discussion or by buying it or talking others into buying it

Wowwwews!!!167 posts and counting,this show me how relevant this fight still is,and i know mayweathers people and himself are reading this too,thinking "wut do i have to do to get rid of this guy,he lost his last 2 fights,i dominated marquez,marquez koed him,ill beat timothy bradley,bradley beat him,so technically i dont have to fight this guy"..maybe sumthing like that but the only way to clear up this debate is to step foot in the ring with this man..its still breaks the 2.4million ppv record,and pac would still be the toughest opponent of mayweathers career BUT....BElieve me if pac destroys rios and looks like the beast before the 4th marquez fight,be assured mayweather will come up with another excuse to not fight this man!!

Pacquiao is washed up. Hes a shell of himself right now. He has lost everything that made him dangerous. Hes not legitimately top 10 p4p anymore.

He was never a pure skill fighter, he was dangerous because of his physicality. He is 35 now, hes past it, that physicality is gone.

To end 90% of the debates:

1. 6 fights for each since delahoya stats : Mayweather 1.17 million buys/Pacquaio 1.07 buys average per fight..the difference 100,000 buys!

2. The fight never happened and it wasn't due to either boxer. Schaeffer wanted to be Arum and Arum tried to son him. Schaeffer wanted it to be a GBP event and Arum wanted it to be a Top Rank event...neither conceeded.

3. Pacquaio and Mayweather aren't/have never been scared to fight each other.

4. Despite what is on believed both men have had a mostly respectful opinion of each other, aside from the PED allegations Floyd has spoken highly of Pacquaio throughout the years and even while being accused of killing the fight Pacquaio himself has never publicly criticized Floyd outside of the PED allegation stuff.

5. Both fan bases need to chill the f...out! Doesn't matter who you think wins and who you think loses. Doesn't even matter, what matters is the historical aspect of this fight happening which frankly is important to the sport.

6. I hope it does happen and i'm sorry but 100,000 more buys does not entitle any fighter to dictate finances. Cut it down the middle, make it a mandatory bout..end of story....both men go down in history and both men walk out richer than ever= Everyone happy.
