Too many trainers he flip-flopped around, going back to Sr. isn't going to help him. He's already picked up tendencies from the others that I don't think he can get rid of.

IMO he's done. You get knocked out two fights in a row. I worry about his ability to take a punch. Stevenson is a heavy hitter, we knew that. But we also knew that he only had a powerful left hand. Chad got hit with Stevenson's money punch in the first round which is unacceptable and speaks to a lack of preparation and discipline.

Baybe he'll get a shot at the Pascal-Bute winner. He'd rather get it if Bute wins...

No you're not. You were ruined by Ward. Or I should say, ruined by your own dumbass self for dropping down in weight.

Good to see that Chad is eager to get back in the ring. It would be great if If he could get the winner of Pascal vs Bute. Dawson is very talented and I still believe he has a future in the LHW division.

Not sure if he is going to make it all the way back after those last two fights. He should start slow and after a couple fights see where he stands.

I agree with IronDan, he should face Cloud to see where he stands.

Dawson is not mentally weak, he's demonstrated that on numerous occasions; he's gotten hurt or knocked down and continued to dominate fights. Mentally weak fighters fold when hit with the adversity he's faced (KD by Harding and Adamek, hurt by G Johnson, going into overdrive when cut against Pascal, KD numerous times by Ward before calling it quits; when you've done ).
Chad is mentally weak. I've been following Chad since 2006, I just don't think he cares. He's been underperforming the last five years, he has no respect for his trainers, he switched trainers 10 times, what does that say?

If Chad has no ambition to be the best (and despite what he says I don't believe it) he needs to retire. To the best in boxing you need to be mentally tough, and Chad has shown that he doesn't have the mental discpline to be the best. I mean he switched trainers 10 times, that is ridiculous. Everything Chad said in the article is pure BS, he lies all the time.

As for signing with a promoter, good luck with that Chad. Gary Shaw gave you everything and you let him down all the time. Everyone in boxing knows that you are a liar, you don't really like boxing, and you are only in it for the money.
