Mike Perez, after the tragedy

My prayers to Mago and his family, but I haven't hear from Perez and my guess is that he is profoundly disturb by what happen, do you think that he will be the same on his next fight or became gunshy? A lots of fighters would lose their killer instinct with a tragedy like this

As a few other guys pointed out: it's really all about the individual, so it's hard to say. But my opinion is that Mike would've been much likelier to suffer psychological trauma if he KOed Mago, or pummeled him into submission. I think he would feel much more guilty in that case. As it was, both fighters withstood enormous punishment. Magomed walked out of the ring just as well as Mike did. I think Perez might feel (and rightfully so) that it could just as easily been him in a coma.

I hope both men and their families come out of this okay. The tragedy has affected many people, not just the fighters.
