Comments Thread For: George Groves: Like DeGale, I Know Froch's Weaknesses

George Groves says that new trainer Paddy Fitzpatrick will bring the best out of him against Carl Froch as he takes the Sky Sports viewers into his training camp in George Groves – Behind the Ropes, tonight at 7pm on Sky Sports 1.

The challenger for Froch’s WBA and IBF World Super Middleweight titles split with long-time trainer Adam Booth ahead of Saturday’s clash at the sold-out Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and the Londoner explains the reasons behind the decision in the show.

It would be nice if Groves had his own public personality. His speech pattern is a carbon copy of Adam Booth's and he struts in the ring just like David Haye. After he loses he will probably grow one.

This is from Beyond The Ropes from earlier.

Does he think Froch doesn't know his weaknesses. It's like in his mind, he's going to be able to expose every weakness and Froch won't be able to do anything about it.

I always hear Groves talk about how Froch has "struggled".

      "He struggled with Dirrell"

      "Struggled with Johnson" (False)

      "Lost to Kessler"

      "Lost to Ward"

Acting as if he wouldn't struggle at that level.

Conveintly leaving out beating Pascal, Taylor, Bute, Kessler in the rematch then is dismissive and like "Oh yeah and beat Abraham"

This is why Froch get's annoyed with Groves and Groves trys to play it off.

      The guy is delusional.

UH...You Avoid His Power And Out-Box Him Its Been Done Multiple Times, you can also outboxing him inside because he needs space to get off with his Power and really have no skills fighting inside

Groves is quick and can be slick and can outbox Froch from the outside but I am not sure if he can avoid Froch Power for 12 Rounds because Groves sometimes stop fighting and start leaning on the ropes, but if he can HE WINS or gets ROBBED
