Another fighter that got ruined after a big loss. Head case. A shame.

lacy was never good. has nothing to do with being a head case. he had no skills. watch his fights instead of repeating calzaghe fans rhetoric. he's as bad as chavez jr.

love how people downplay Calzaghe's win over Lacy now, but back then Lacy was the heavy favourite and the predictions were hilariously one sided. Joe knew though, easy easy fight.

he was not the heavy favorite. the odds were nearly even and that was only because calzaghe was seen as a senchenko like fraud not because lacy was some great fighter. have you seen lacy's fights before he fought calzaghe? utterly terrible fighter. got outboxed by guys like rubin williams and syd vanderpool till getting favorable stoppages. life and death with omar sheika. clubbed robin reid behind the head 7 times to score "knockdowns" these things don't scream out skill! more like hype! please explain how lacy was a good fighter? based on what? resume? nope he beat one top ten guy his entire career. performances? nope he struggled against bums. people wanted him to be good but he wasn't. that doesn't make it a good win for calzaghe.

Lacy was never the same after Joe & after his last loss, had & showed little...fighting here, no tv, he can't b getting much 4 an 8 rounder, but when you're broke , anything is something...odd his hometown of St Pete, or even Tampa would headline, but the end is now 4 Jeff...
