Froch and Barker sparring

did they edit that to make it look like Froch was dominating I wonder.
Just because Barker seems pleased with his own efforts.Comment

Distinct possibility. They're unlikely to show Froch getting hit with different shots knowing Team Groves would be watching.
In saying that, if they actually fought I'd expect Froch to be well on top.Last edited by Weebler I; 11-19-2013, 05:43 PM.Comment

Yeah, Froch would counter everything Barker threw with impunity knowing Barker would never be able to put a dent in him, really.Comment

He seems to be mentally tuff and physically prepared however he is a sucker for right hands over his jab! His "rowing back" jab is a huge flaw in his attack.
He obviously hasn't faced anyone talented enough to step in and hit him.
Also his pad work is very amatuerish!! He throws a basic 1/2 and just stands there!
He never finishes his combinations correctly with a head movement or foot move! Its what we used to call "looking over the fence"!
I like this kid, he comes to win and will try as hard as he can to be the winner but he has alot of flaws and the weight classes from 147 thru 175 are void of power punchers who could take advantage of flaws!!

Froch didn't even seem to mind when Barker touched him. I could see similar playout unfold, with Froch not respecting his power and just walking him through, somewhere in round 4 or 5. KO in round 8, but I must admit I haven't really seen Cleverly fight.Comment
