    If so, screw this place
    DC Armory is stadium seating

The DC Convention center, where they held Peterson vs Khan was the Level seating venue

Peterson can take steroids, get KTFO'd and still be 'champ'? How much are Golden Boy paying the IBF?

That what I was thinking. Why these promoters don't think things thru for the fans is beyond me. Either that or the venue is way cheap and the promoter is a cheapskate and doesn't give a **** azzzzzz.

Like somebody said above it all come down to Lucas obsession with his WBC world title shot.
Exactly. IBF didn't want a unification. Has absolutely nothing to do with Lucas' so called "obsession" with that interim title. If IBF allowed it, both belts would have been on the line.

Lucas lost, no need to keep hating on him.

It should be Garcia's. He's the clear 140 champion and this would have been another step towards being undisputed. That a belt, IBF, would be against unification, is sickening IMO.

All that would happen is that Dierry Jean would be Danny's mandatory right now and the IBF would force that fight because they stick to their rules.

So in all actuality this is just a fight to become a contender for a shot at Garcia of he decides to stay put. And no he's not rematching Matthysse any time soon. Lol

Is he going to duck the testing again like he did with Matthysse even though he said he was going to do it?

Lamont shouldn't be recognized as champion, period. Garcia taking a soft touch early in the year like Jean wouldn't have been a terrible thing. He's obviously thinking of leaving the weight class soon and it would have been nice if he could have gotten closer to recognition of the undisputed champ.
