Get KO'd in 3, it's okay Lamont. You're still champion.

You can thank Matthysse for that. The only reason that fight was at a catch weight was because Lucas didnt want to lose his mandatory spot against Danny.

Anyways this is a good fight and no soft touch for Peterson. I'm glad to see him back in action.

Peterson didn't want his title on the line. That goes both ways. It's still BS that he's champion when he got destroyed by a legit 140 pounder in his last fight.

Not true. Golden boy CEO Richard Schaefer who promotes both fighters had already confirmed before the fight Lamont wanted his IBF title on the line and they wanted to unify it with Lucas Matthysse's WBC interim belt but the IBF refused to unify with another organizations interim belt so they fought at a 141 catchweight to keep both happy. Both fighters was happy to unify the belts and fight whenever and wherever, nobody was ducking or hiding anything in this fight just boxing politics

Like somebody said above it all come down to Lucas obsession with his WBC world title shot.

I wouldn't be opposed to watching this drug cheat get slapped up a few more times.
