The only way I'd be cool with a Floyd/Alexander fight.

Matter of fact, imagine Kevin Cunningham vs Angel Garcia. Lol
    Would be epic.

If Khan had fought Alexander like he was supposed to the winner would have been a viable opponent for Floyd.

If Alexander fights Kell Brook as was scheduled earlier this year the winner makes himself a legit opponent as well.

beating garcia doesn't enhance devon as a contender to the ww lineal title IMO.

To me it does. Alexander without a Garcia win does absolutely nothing for me as far as a Floyd opponent is concerned.

Why would you bring up the 154 title? You really think Garcia's gonna fight Floyd at 154? Really?
He is the champ there and Garcia isn't even fight at WW yet so he has to prove himself to be a viable opponent.

Exactly, Floyd is a 3 time junior Middleweight champion.

According to Floyd fans Cotto, De la Hoya and Canelo couldn't win 3 rounds against him, so if he's beating all these junior Middleweights with ease what's the point in fighting a 140 pound fighter?

would beating danny be a feather in devon's cap-yes. but it doesn't move him up or down the ww pecking order. beating a guy with no wins at ww can't enhance the credibility of a ww beltholder with respect to the lineal title?

a win over a another top ranked ww have more meaning in this regard than a win over danny.

People justify Maidana getting the shot if he beats Broner. Devon shut Maidana out.
