Chavez is too slow to even make it a competitive fight. The fight would look exactly like Ward vs Rodriguez, Ward would easily control him on the inside and outside. It'd be on the same competitive level as Mayweather/Guerrero and Pacquiao/Rios.

Chavez is nothing more than a glorified Librado Andrade, except Andrade has proven he could take the punches of a SMW. He has 0 chance against Ward, it'd even be one of the easiest fights of his career.

Ward needs to swallow his pride and admit that the best money fight for him right now is a Froch fight in the UK.

But you have to question; is Chavez Jr. still capable of making big purses?
Many people were angry with him over the suspension after the Martinez fight, and it showed during the Vera fight. There weren't as many people in seats for that fight as he normally has. He then alienated those fans even more when he showed up unprepared to fight Vera. People are quickly getting tired of his antics (myself included) and I don't think he will ever generated the same amount.
Unless he fights Canelo of course.

It's funny though how ward makes every effort to say how Chavez can fight but wt every turn likes to downplay the achievements of triple g.
