Well, the only fight he can make at 168 that can make him money is a rematch with Carl Froch in the UK and because of his ego he refuses to make that fight. On one hand, he's unbeatable because of his boxing style. On the other hand, his huge ego has made him illogical. He believes he deserves money like Floyd but refuses to see that he's not a popular fighter.

There is nothing out there for ward at super middle any more. I guess a froch rematch would generate some money or if groves pulled off the upset there'd be a bit in a fight there but he is just so much better than everybody at super middle right now.

GGG moving up would be one fight that could generate some dosh but I think it's something that would be better down the line for both guys. It would be a lot bigger in a years or even two years time than it would be any time soon

Ward recognizes a hype job when he see`s one.He knows GGG is a hype job that he would handle easy.Part of me want to see SOG vs GGG so that after GGG gets schooled,people would stop over-hyping GGG.Why can`t you people hype up Kovalev?He`s a very well rounded fighter whose far better then GGG.

Let's be fair, GGG doesn't belong in the ring with Ward. It'd be a stylistically nightmare fight for GGG, but at the same time he isn't big enough to fight Ward. He needs to outgrow 160lb before this fight can happen, then it'd be a fair fight. Ward should focus on trying to move up to LHW, he has nothing to prove at 168lbs anymore.

Floyd should fight JMWs and MWs....Ward should fight LHWs and Cruisers....Nelo should stay at JMW and continue to fight WWs and JWWs....Triple G should clean out MW when the dudes with those belts won't fight him....and yeah Rosado fought Triple G at MW after he couldn't get a name at 154....straight outta the fire pan right into the fire...but those other dudes get respected more!!!....NS ****ing B.....gotta love it!!!

GGG-Ward is not gonna happen in the near future. It seems both guys dont really want the fight and I also think that they should unify their divisions first before thinking about facing eachother. This fight could have a much bigger momentum and more fan appeal and to be honest, I don't think the fight would do so well right now.
It surely appeals to HC boxing fans, but maybe not to the public that much (yet)
Both guys still need a more popular fighter in the ring to sell their own name, fill stadiums and sell ppv's

How about andre move up for kovalev?

I like Kovalev a lot but he's no where near Ward's level. I think GGG is the best option if were strictly looking for the most competitive fight. Still, ward wins a UD. 10-2 or 9-3.

Kovalev/ Stevenson winner is going to be the big fight for Ward imo as far as his legacy is concerned. (but here's the kicker. Stevenson would be a sellout in Montreal, Kovalev most likely a deal would be made and Kovalev I believe will fight anyone anywhere) Ward is the big fight for GGG's legacy, not so much for Ward's. Bute/Pascal winner again in Montreal. Froch in Nottingham would be a great move by Ward to get the love of fans out in the UK. Being from the bay, I personally like the fights to happen in Oakland so I can see them live but it seems to me that those cities and Vegas is where these future fights need to be.
