Golovkin ain't beating Ward. I'm sure Ward has fought harder Punchers than Golovkin being that he is at a higher weight. Not to mention better skilled guys than Golovkin. All Golovkin would have is a Punchers Chance at best and that is even questionable considering what I stated earlier in this same post. I notice fans of boxing are so fiending to see KO's that if a fighter gets some, then he is the next man to be feared in the whole boxing world.

I remember Matthysse was considered the chain saw massacre until a fighter showed different Looks and a lil skill beating him. Not comparing Golovkin to Matthysse but the Level of Hype is almost if not the same. Best to see GGG in with someone that can actually take a Punch and Display some skill because at the end of the day no matter how good GGG is. He is not more skillful or well rounded than Andre Ward. Ward beats him easy.

True. But not because Ward "fought harder punchers than Golovkin"... It's simply because Ward's style-set nullifies anybody else's style...

I'd be interested to see him try to nullify Dirrell's style.

I know that they were buddies since their amateurs' times...
... Ward would simple out-wrestle Dirrell... In my opinion, Ward out-powers Dirrell in chinches... anytime...

Ward shouldn't be in any hurry to take that GGG fight. The bigger GGG gets, the bigger boost it gives Ward if he wins. The only reason Ward should be in a rush to that fight is if he's worried about recurring injuries.

i can't see why anybody wouldn't want to see ward - golovkin. that is THE fight. ppv in late 2014 or early 2015. mark it on your calendar.

it's not like golovkin is some small middleweight. he has long arms, a great chin, and superhuman punching power. he was a middleweight in the amateurs. he's been a middleweight for 10 years. he beat dirrell, korobov, despaigne, stopped bute.
