I'd much rather see GGG properly rule 160 before he moves up, provided he's good enough to do so. It's not like Ward going to 175 at all, because unlike GGG, Ward has cleaned out his division with the help of the Super Six tournament. Golovkin stepping up to 168 with no career defining wins in the bank at 160 would be dumb.

Im with you guys Ward should move up for Adonis or Kovalev, but only after GGG. Why don't you guys want that fight first? If we wait for GGG to clean out 160, this fight would never happen.

Honestly, I don't see any logical way to hold Ward even partially responsible for what happen last night. Rodriguez basically did the same thing to him that Broner did to Escobedo, Floyd did to JMM, and Chavez Jr did to Vera. And this is the first I've seen of a person being critical of the guy that fought the guy that didn't make weight.

Dude at least tried to make weight the second time. broner said eff it both times.... i'm surprised he still got paid, they had to suck Escobedo's pee pee so he wouldn't cancel the fight

I like Ward ! I have no issues with the man, like his ways, etc...... but as a fighter, I like him and was pulling for him but we know after hearing about the weight issues the fight was already won by Ward.

What I saw was a bit disappointing last nite, disappointed that Max built up Rod. and then he came in the ring and fought like a novice. BUT, what disappointed me most was the lack of POWER in WARD. His record reflects his power, average at best. With a near 150 shots landed on the chin and nothing happening, maybe one in the 11 round, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

When he and GGG face off, here is what we will know:

Ward cannot KO GGG,,,,,but GGG can KO WARD

Ward and GGG have great skills

Ward and GGG have great Amateur records.

KO ratio , GGG has the best in HISTORY in the MW divison,,,,Ward is average

GGG will KO WARD
