    folks....key word there.
GGG says it's his dream fight but he's smart enough to know it can't happen

Why so much anger towards Ward? That is a complete non-sense to me... A smart young men, who's got is mind on the right thing, a family he take care of. Ward faces the best in his division, barely lost three rounds doing it... C'mon guys.

Actually, I believe Stevenson was Froch's mandatory when he jumped to light heavy to take the title from Dawson, a Ward leftover.

        BTW, Ward outclasses Stevenson.

He was, I don't think he felt like waiting for Froch and took the direct shot... kind of like Rosado

I would like to see Floyd move up and fight them both. GGG at 158 and Ward at 164. If he did that Roberto Duran style and beat them both which I think he could beat GGG but lose to Ward unless Ward was weight drained a little, but if he won those fights Floyd goes down as the GOAT

Floyd should fight JMWs and MWs....Ward should fight LHWs and Cruisers....Nelo should stay at JMW and continue to fight WWs and JWWs....Triple G should clean out MW when the dudes with those belts won't fight him....and yeah Rosado fought Triple G at MW after he couldn't get a name at 154....straight outta the fire pan right into the fire...but those other dudes get respected more!!!....NS ****ing B.....gotta love it!!!

Ward is slowly reveling his true identity. He tried to act humble but when people began to show love to someone else, he began to pull Maywhether. True humble fighters stay humble in every circumstances.
Both Golovkin and Kovalev will beat Ward and he's probably aware of that.
When Golovkin said anywone from 154 to 168, he meant those who have titles and you are one of them.

Dawson had 0 power or anything in that fight...I mean I can see the "you wanted it, so you got it" mentality but you [me] just can't ignore the fact that the guy was drained.

This fight wasn't Ward's fault either but again....this opponent appeared to be drained and out of it in the fight too. I think Ward needs a standout fight where he takes some risks to restore some shine to his image. At least in my eyes, especially if he is going to entertain fighting MW's. It is definitely a fight that people are talking about so I can't put the blame on Ward for answering questions asked about the fight but I can see there being demands by Ward's team regarding weight and a failure to compromise.

If something like that happens and the reason for the fight not happening is on Ward's side, people are gonna start paying a lot more attention to the details of some of Ward's past fights. There is a pretty established precedent of Ward not being so accommodating when it comes to the negotiating table.

It says something when the networks only show your fight and don't put undercards on your events, it usually means they don't expect a big return on the investment so they skimp as much as possible. HBO is going to be increasingly demanding and critical of Ward's opposition moving forward....I think it's just something Ward's team should take into consideration.
Honestly, I don't see any logical way to hold Ward even partially responsible for what happen last night. Rodriguez basically did the same thing to him that Broner did to Escobedo, Floyd did to JMM, and Chavez Jr did to Vera. And this is the first I've seen of a person being critical of the guy that fought the guy that didn't make weight.
