I miss the mattyhysee hype..i hope he fights again soon

The hype was surreal and distasteful in regards to Garcia not fighting him, but Lucas created a buzz through his fist. I was super hyped when he destroyed Pederson and I was massively impressed. Am glad he is now resting and enjoying his time off with his family, hopefully he can jump back in sooner rather than later and recreate the same buzz.

Messed up? He fought like a warrior against Garcia with one eye for almost half of the fight and was a great fight. He'll be back. The outcome left him injured just give him some time. He's still not NOT a beast.

He has legit Showtime/GBP/Haymon backing so I wouldn't start burying him yet

A great fight? He couldn't do ****. Its nice to see the hype silenced. Garcia is great for boxing. Him and his dad will entertain us ten times more than Matthysse ever could.

Garcia is now vastly overrated just like Matthysse was... Its always funny how these things go...

One fighter is an overrated hype-job and "so-n-so" is gonna expose them...

Then after so-n-so wins, he's now the greatest thing since Ray Leonard...

I don't even get how that works... If one fighter isn't as good as everyone said he is, than why should anyone that beats him be considered "great"...

3 different occasion this has happened that I can think of (though I'm sure there are many more examples)... Matthysse/Garcia, Donaire/Rigondeaux, Lacey/Calzaghe

Now Garcia is supposedly a great fighter?? Did u guys not see the first 6 rounds? Did u not see the end of the Judah fight? Or the first Morales fight??

(And here come the bottle emoticons, the "Matthysse fans are still crying" comments, and the Angel Garcia "Deal with it" memes becuz there's too much realness in this comment for anyone to have a serious response)

The guy's not that good... He was the underdog for a reason... And all this fight proved was that Matthysse isn't any better
