Lara vs Trout winner is the logical next fight for Floyd. Schaefer can stack it with high profile undercards.

Question: why would anyone take a fight they know they can't win?

However, to be consistent with the thread topic, I say Pacman. This is just to ascertain the claim that Pac lack of boxing technique will become imminent. The stuff he's allowed to get away with in the ring is astrocious, though it ultimately caught up to him. It goes to show the lack of quality fighters today. Mayweather is old school and will no doubt exposed Pac limited boxing technique if he himself doesn't get caught by a bomb punch.

Floyd only fights champions and top contenders in the divisions he fights in.

floyd mayweather would be hugely favored over any fighter campaigning @ or below 154 lbs.

it's not an appropriate fight, but if i could choose anybody for mayweather to fight it would be gennady golovkin. if you want to be one of the 25 greatest fighters of all time that's a great place to start.

I still want to see him fight Manny.

                Or Sergio.

Neither one of those fights will happen though.

                Floyd will duck as usual.

**** that crap. boring fights that will never happen, and rightfully so. floyd mayweather shouldn't use up one of this last few fights for one of those guys. additionally, if you're fighting a nobody you might as well stay away from the southpaws who are bigger than you are. casual fans drive PPV sales. that fight would bomb like guerrero did.

I'm not picky. I'm cool with a unification fight or a fight against a top 3 contender in 147/154 or Danny Garcia, the lineal champ at 140.

Golovkins best win is Mackin..how does that do anything for Floyds atg status?
