A few of you are borderline brain dead. I'm not a Canelo fan, however,

    1) This "hype job" has a much more impressive resume at the age of 23 than did your "future hall of famer." (Joe Perez, Cesar Bazan, etc).

    2) This "hype job" beat the very same champion that beat your "hall of famer." recently.

    3) "hype job" 23 vs "Hall of famer" 23 = victory "hype job" 23
"hype job" 23 vs "Hall of famer" now = victory "hype job" 23

The only thing we're not sure of, is who would win prime "hype job" vs prime "hall of famer" becasue teh "hype job" is about 3 or 4 years from his prime.

I"m not a canelo fan, but even worse, is how delusional a few PR fans have become. I know tough times on the championless island, but it dosn't excuse you from acting completely ******ed!!!

*This is not intended for the real PR fight fans, keep doing your thing!!!
Oh boy, the trolling is strong in you...

      Canelo

Alvarez was nowhere near ready to seriously threaten Mayweathers reign. Golden boy, have done him no favours.Team Alvarez are doing damage limitation big-time after the very disappointing challenge to Money's reign. Cotto will not roll over and could get a few people panicking.
One thing that does bug me though is that it's like there's King Mayweather, then his conquests fight over what's left.

Ok, so my last statement was subjective, however, my first two points were not:

Are you saying that Cotto's resume at the of 23 is better than that of Canelo's?

Furthermore, are you also saying that Canelo didn't beat the man who beat Cotto last?

*Tic toc ....Please respond with proof otherwise in these two statements, otherwise, we have a troll accusing other people of trolling (proving my intial statement that some PR box fans are void any unbias rational)

**tic toc, still waiting for you to prove these two statements, which have made me a troll, wrong.

        still waiting.

Very winnable fight for Cotto with the right gameplan and dedication to the body attack.

                still waiting.
I did respond to you, and even without looking at their record I have to say that by the time he was 22-24 years old he had already fought guys like Bailey, Corley, Torres, Maussa, Bazan, Juuko, Sosa, Ndou, etc... and won, almost everyone of them in their prime and in the same weight division, no flyweights fighting him at 140 or some crazy $h1t like that, if I recall correctly he won the belt from Bailey, not his little brother oh and he make weight, ginger fought hatton at a catch weight that he, ginger, didn't make

firstly, Cotto was older than 23 when he fought baily and corley....so just a yes or no, does Cotto have a better resume 23 and under? ....please don't try to justify or sidestep the question...yes, or no?

secondly, your triangle theory is irrelevant becuas I removed all subjectivity, we all know styles make fights, the question is, did Canelo beat the same man who defeated Cotto last?

you can answer both questions with a total of two combined syllables, anything more is cowering from reality.

                  Still waiting...

By the time he turn 23 he was 17-0 and the combined record of his opponents was 338W-123L all of them in his own division, so yes I think Cotto's resume $h1t on gingers, a kid that has being protected all his career and will get spanked by Cotto if the decide to really fight him, ginger has only fought one guy in his own division or two, Trout and the fight was fixed with the open score to let the kid know he was ahead, and Rhodes, all others were bring from the lower divisions just to feed a kid that in reality should be fighting at MW-SMW, they avoided angulo when he was the #1, Vanes, Lara and any other decent JMW...
