During his prime in the late 80s and 90s, Mike Tyson used to parade as the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’. However, the outrageous revelations of his memoirs published this week, simply portray him as the maddest and the saddest.

In the 600 page book farcically titled ‘Undisputed Truth’, the convicted rapist ‘owns up to sex, drug and alcohol addictions throughout his turbulent career which routinely brought our sport into disrepute.

Through my association with Don King, I was closely involved in several Tyson promotions, including both of his appearances in the UK. The contrast in his conduct during those 2000 trips reflected his erratic and combustible psyche.

Typical writer with typical writers ******ity. People have a perception of what's good and what's bad. Then they bring that same thought process into the human equation. Top that off against a man like Mike functioning in a brutal sport of boxing and the writer thinks he knows just who a fighter is suppose to go about he's daily activities. Frank Warren is a promoter in the UK. He is not a writer. He just happens to write a blog on boxingscene every month or so. He promoted a few Tyson bout's back in the day. He is still seemingly butt hurt that Tyson beat his boys. Considering some of his questionable/unethical actions in the past I would think he would just let bygones be bygones and move on.
