LOL Lou slipped up there at the end 'Golovkin should be looking at Andr.. The winner of this fight'

He knows that the winner will be ward. He doesn't have faith in his fighter Rodriguez either.

Prove us wrong and put him in the ring with Golovkin then.

I don't think so, Murray was doing well and it was a close fight till about round 8 then Martinez took over in the championship rounds and Murray backed off, he has himself admitted as much. Murray has no complaints about the results of that bout, as he himself said, "I should have maybe jumped on him more in the later rounds", that is exactly true. I remember watching the fight and almost shouting at the screen for Murray to be more active, to through more punches and to be less cautious. Sadly Murray didn't do any of that and in a skysports interview, he alluded to the fact that it's different when your actually in the ring and feeling Martinez's power.

For you and some of the others on this forum who say Murray won the fight, I'd be very interested in seeing your scorecards.

As for Martinez being counted out, it's true, many are ridiculing Martinez as a fighter, who in his career has avoided no one and had the best reign as middleweight champion since Hopkins and in terms of sheer quality, probably as good if not better than that reign.

Yes the Golovkin fight should happen, it's the most mouth watering contest in the division but it is quite obvious that Martinez was suffering due to his injuries in the Murray fight and his next match up will tell us just how much he has left. No doubt if the Marvelous One will fight the beast from the East if he looks fantastic and back to his real self next time out. In the meantime, Golovkin should be pressured into fighting legitimate middleweight contenders.

Martinez isn't the one to put the blame on...
It's about his doctors and his promoters...

What's that gonna accomplish? You need 2 to make a fight. You'd be pressuring the wrong guy, it's all the contenders that refuse to face him

Sergio has faced far more stiff competition than Golovkin, that's a fact! I think Gennady is good, but is overrated by the fans and media. To just assume he'd walk through a healthy Martinez based on his current resume is foolish.

                But people never learn.

Martinez deserves one money fight with cotto or canelo. But after that no excuses. Golovkin's ratings on HBO are great too so the "business" excuse is bull****. There's no doubt that HBO would throw Martinez a bunch of money to fight so Golovkin.

This is why DiBella will always be a B-League promoter. He starts frothing at the mouth yammering nonsense like "Now I got to hear about Golovkin." Yeah you got to HEAR about GGG because he's hot right now and Sergio has been fighting Euro bums it seems like forever.

People want to see competitive fights not the euro bum tour.

In my opinion Sergio is and always was overrated and now he is washed up as well.
