On one hand, its funny because Edwin was making all these demands and now he loses the portion of the purse that was negotiated for him and ends up missing weight.

On the other hand, I'm upset because I felt this was a good comeback fight between two undefeated fighters, one looking to overtake that #1 P4P spot from Mayweather and the other looking to make a name for himself.

Honestly, I don't think anything Ward does tomorrow could elevate him over Floyd in most P4P ranks.

That being said, if Ward comes out tomorrow and puts on a clinic ending in a mid round KO/TKO after over a year off, then he is back in the mix for discussion.

So...he'd have to weigh more than 180 pounds?

          ...

Guess you didn't pick up on the "max"!

Yup, HBO needs to implement the penalties for not making weight. This is a HUGE psychological disadvantage for Edwin. There's absolutely no way he wins this fight (By the way, nice Christmas gift ).

Hilarious that Edwin held out for more $$$$, now he has to give 20% back to Ward

Was going to buy this but now that I've just read that Rodriguez is so drained that he can't spit or piss then I think I might leave it!

This really sucks for Rodriguez since this means tonight he can't try and re-hydrate to the fullest. I mean he still can come in tomorrow night at like 190 but the damage would have already been done. Well, this might be less competitive than we were already expecting. But what he really needs to do is at least try and make it competitive so he can stay relevant after this fight. Let's wait and see.
