Having Wilder @ rated #3 is no more outrageous than having Stiverne rated #1 at the beginning of the year for beating bum azz Ray Austin 2 years prior. Unless you're going to claim Ray Austin is better than former WORLD TITLIST Siarhei Liakhovich?

He won that 7 years ago and was coming off a year and a half layoff after getting his ass beat beat from Jennings.
The only thing people expected from him was to give rounds, which he didn't.
Austin won some B.S belts and lost to Solis. Solis lost to Vitali and he went into another eliminator.

actually I would put him ahead of liakhovich. he had 1 great night when he beat lamon Brewster. Austin had some nice wins earlier in his career. he went from being a journeyman to a top 20 in the world through fighting good opponents. in my opinion beating sergei liakhovich isn't that big a deal. he lost to a 290lb briggs & got knocked out by Maurice harris. his last decent showing was against helenius.

And thanks for bringing up Liakhovich's performance against Helenius (who's rated in the top 10 btw) which was in 2011. When was Ray Austin's last "quality" showing against a world rated opponent? A 2006 draw against Ibragimov? Liakhovich was better and more proven than Austin and it's not even debatable.

arreola is still the #2 & wilder is #3. the WBC ordered the winner of abdusalamov\perez fight in an eliminator. I think someone posted an article. arreola didn't get dominated but after the broken nose he was very limited to what he could do. I think winner or stiverne\arreola 2 will have to make a defence vs winner of wilder\perez. this only happens if vitali retires.

He got utterly DOMINATED. No if's and's or but's about it. Won 2-3 rounds at best and was praying for an end to the fight by the 12th. Looked to be on the verge of quitting or being stopped.

And ARREOLA'S PROMOTER wants Wilder/Stiverne. Or Wilder/Arreola. And has publicly said so. And that's whats going to happen.

Hell, I am rooting for Wilder, but the skill Stiverne displayed in the Arreola fight coupled with his knockout power makes him a threat to pretty much anyone except Wladimir, Haye and Pulev.

With that said, Wilder does have the speed and power to get Stiverne out of there at anytime.

A good lineup for Wilder's next few fights would be Michael Sprott, the winner of Tor Hamer vs. Andy Ruiz Jr., and then Tony Thompson or Malik Scott.

If you are going to quote me - do it right - I said he had good amateur background which he does - who in da *** is scared to fight Wilder? Mr sparring partner in everyone's camp is hurting himself - I really wish you would have read everything else I wrote so you can see the truth - there is a irish Mike perez for all of these so called killers - wilder should be on somebodies basketball court, you will see once he fights a real cat - Amir Mansour / bryant jennings / Andy Ruiz / chris arreola / dereck chisora / david haye / czar dude / freakin someone - this guy is only 28 years old and has fought no-one. That tells you about Golden boys belief in him! It kinda makes you look back at Seth Mitchell and give him somewhat props - at least dude dared to be good.
