Vitali likely isn't fighting again. If Stiverne fights for the strap it'll be against Wilder. The WBC are NOT going to make him fight Arreola again who he already thoroughly dominated. Not if Golden boy/Haymon has a say in the matter (golden boy promotes Arreola as well btw). Schaefer has made it crystal clear that he wants Wilder-Stiverne next. Or whoever's rated infront of Wilder by the WBC. I wouldn't be suprised if Stiverne tries to initiate a useless re-match with Arreola when Vitali doesn't face him just to get away from Wilder.

Wouldn't be surprised since the WBC corrupt asses already have Wilder at Number 3 somehow. I wouldn't put it beyond them to bypass the number 2 for funsies

Nobody ducking Wilder. Wilder needs to fight Mike Perez next. But GBP will likely pay their way out of that fight.

like the WBC will follow their rules. Whoever wins the belt will have Wilder move up to #1 and the WBC will order an immediate mandatory defense

Wilder is the reason boxing is turning for the worst. Stiverne has good amateur pedigree and has beaten who he needs to beat - the man is 35 years old! How in the hell is Wilder ranked top 10 without fighting anyone in the top 20? Top 10? This is really going to hurt his career and test his love for the sport because - this is for Wilder and GGG - no disreapect to Mago I have followed his career and wish him the best but in everyone's career they face a irish Mike Perez who can move his head just enough to stay away from the killer shots, who can punch back just as hard , and will not go anywhere until the final bell or he gets you . This why I am too smart to anoint / support / or back these unproven so called killers. The police always shows up to handcuff them and take them away!

Having Wilder @ rated #3 is no more outrageous than having Stiverne rated #1 at the beginning of the year for beating bum azz Ray Austin 2 years prior. Unless you're going to claim Ray Austin is better than former WORLD TITLIST Siarhei Liakhovich?

arreola is still the #2 & wilder is #3. the WBC ordered the winner of abdusalamov\perez fight in an eliminator. I think someone posted an article. arreola didn't get dominated but after the broken nose he was very limited to what he could do. I think winner or stiverne\arreola 2 will have to make a defence vs winner of wilder\perez. this only happens if vitali retires.

                    Deep amateur background.
Just stepped up for the 1st time in his career just a few months ago against a a glorified C-level fringe contender.

But don't fret. Wilder's going to clean the clock of all the can-crushing fraud's in the division like Stiverne that has ruined boxing for you. As soon as err'body stops avoiding him like he has cooties or something.

actually I would put him ahead of liakhovich. he had 1 great night when he beat lamon Brewster. Austin had some nice wins earlier in his career. he went from being a journeyman to a top 20 in the world through fighting good opponents. in my opinion beating sergei liakhovich isn't that big a deal. he lost to a 290lb briggs & got knocked out by Maurice harris. his last decent showing was against helenius.
