Well, it was only a matter of time.

Wilder will get in with Arreola or Stiverne, and half the Wilder fans will have their hands over their eyes, cringing, watching the fight through the slits between their fingers.

They could've put him in with a Tony Grano, Sam Sexton, Vinny Madalone, but instead there's a huge gap in his record, moving from top 200s to top 20s now.

Has Arreola said something about that?? I hope Wilder vs. Arreola will be next.
Stiverne is right though, Wilder is not on his level yet. Maybe hes not even ready for Arreola yet! But its about time that Wilder proves himself!!
Wilder could als fight Michael Sprott who won the pricefighter yesterday. Not as dangerous as Arreola but still a step up.

You mean like the same "gap" that was in Stiverne's record at the beginning of this year? Based on Stiverne's own logic he shouldn't have been able to beat or even be competitive with Arreola. But he dominated him. Similar to the way Wilder gonna dominate him. Only it's going to be about 6-7 rds shorter. He knows it, which is why he's shook and trying to flippantly dismiss him. As is Arreola. At least Arreola openly and honestly admitted he wants no part of Wilder.

he beat ray Austin & arreola in eliminators to get the mandatory slot. why would he waste his time fighting wilder now? arreola didn't say he would not fight wilder, just not now because he gets nothing out of it. if vitali retires arreola & stiverne fight for the vacant belt. wilder being 3 or 4 will be first in line for a title shot & I guarantee wilder will be one of the first defences by either as there would be fat paycheck, HBO slot & potential for a short nights work... neither guy is ducking wilder...

Stiverne shouldn't have to fight Wilder. His next fight should be for a title.

Wilder's next fight should be an eliminator against Mike Perez. I want to see if they step up or pay their way out of it.
