The fighters who are labeled as "boring" or "runners" by naive fans are some of the best fighters in the world and it shows in their undefeated records against top quality opponents. Now how about those who are called "boring" or "runners" that actually listen to their critics and attempt to please these naive fans? Care to tell me what happens to them? They LOSE trying to please the drunk idiots in the crowd and at home.

I remember when people were booing Alexander when he fought Bailey, He stayed composed disciplined and pitched a perfect fight. If he had tried to brawl it out like some bar fighting idiot he could've gotten stopped like Pacquiao or Mares. That's what happens when fighters listen to the causal fans that want blood in every fight. Think about how long Money and The Alien have lasted in the sport. They never succumb to the pressures of causal fans or haters. They know what needs to be done and they do it.

Crawford recently tweeted that fighters needed to stop listening to fans that want them to brawl and fight intelligently and I agree with him completely.

Its dumb to criticize technicians as runners

Its dumber to say the sport doesnt need Gatti v Ward

            Are you sure?

Ali, Duran, SRL, SRR, Louis, Tyson...all have lost and are still beloved by fans. Its not as simple as fans just want blood. They want heart, guts and courage in all forms.

What a lot of new fans dont get is that you can still earn respect when you lose. That's what makes boxing the best sport in the world

So those boxers that you criticize shouldn't pay any attention to your criticism, cause that would make them weak right?
