That is the definition of meaningless statistical analysis.

It really wasn't a hard fight to score, Vanes wasn't landing quality blows at least in a degree to make a difference. Vanes was getting out landed and out worked plus was getting hit clean more. There are a few rounds you could give to Vanes but even those it is not like he really did more to win them he just kind of equaled Andrade and by comparison that looked better for Vanes.


It wasn't really close at all, one guy clearly did more and won the fight.

He outlanded him at a 2:1 clip man. Think Vanes landed like 96 or something while Andrade apparently landed over 200.

It was clear to the eye he was landing at like 2 to 1 you didn't even need to count. If Vanes was really crushing him you could make the case quality over quantity but Vanes wasn't landing big clean shots and I would say Andrade was landing the cleaner blows.

Kellerman was screaming shut out for Andrade and that the first round should have been a 10-9 round even with the knock down. I scored three rounds for Vanes and an extra point for the knockdown. I will also tell you which rounds Andrade lost and that would be the rounds where he held his hands high. Because for what ever reason he doesn't seem to move his hands enough unless they are around his waist.

I had it 8-4 minus KD for Andrade so 115-112.

LOL I posted the same kind of analysis for CJ Ross's score card in the Alvarez fight.

I forget exactly how it went, but she was in line with at least one of the other judges in a majority of the rounds.

and the only reason why any of this works is because the judges were ****, bottom line.

We as boxing fans don't need 3 dumbasses to tell us what we saw with our own eyes. I see most people on this forum in line with this decision, with close scorecards. It wasn't hard to score. I watched the fight with my old man who knows **** all about boxing, he said "the black dude won"

That's the same ref who was lined up to judge the Canelo/Trout fight but was yanked at the last minute for Oren Schellenberger.

Ross had at least 1 judge agree with her in 10 of 12 rounds. Only the 1st and 8th rounds she was alone on her score.

Moretti had at least 1 judge agree with him in all 12 rounds.

Metcalfe had at least 1 judge agree with him in 7 of 12 rounds.

Strange judging anomaly here. If you take the "average score" per judge per round, the fight is scored 116-112 Floyd.


Would this kind of system of combining judges scores prevent similar issues from coming up in the future?

Could this come back and give the decision to the wrong boxer if ONE score is averaged out from the 3 judges and turned in??
