I used to be a big fan of Cintron but lately it seems like he doesn't commit to his punches and he's just there for a payday. There is no excitement in his fights anymore.
any boxer / puncher can do that to angulo, though. he's proven to be an extremely limited fighter, and he's done next to nothing with his chin or power.
cintron had a huge right hand (good left hook, too,) big shoulders / reach, and good athletic quality. he started boxing way too late to be anything special.
Any boxer? I think you're indirectly discrediting Cintron's win over an undefeated Angulo by essentially calling Angulo a push over. Limited, yes. But he's great at what he does and gives opponents hell if they try to make it their fight.
Also, lets not forget how these boards cried robbery when Cintron didn't get the TD over Williams (granted, I honestly couldn't give two fucks about a 4 round fight, but it's worth noting).

any "boxer / puncher" very obviously refers to a world class boxer with power.
angulo is great at nothing. he's an overrated puncher, his chin is not terrific, and he doesn't have a great gas tank. those are the three attributes that make a limited pressure fighter a viable commodity.
i was not posting on boxingscene when cintron fought williams, but i've got no issues with that fight being stopped. cintron did not want to fight, even though he was landing some of his gas. he probably saw the tall southpaw take his best punches and keep throwing, and looked for a way out. he literally jumped out of the ring. he lined himself up between the ropes with his eyes and jumped.
Cintron was quoted after the fight (and well before the plaster scandal) with Margarito "I felt that I was being hit with bricks" -Cintron
Very interesting....
that's common rhetoric after a guy faces a puncher. punchers address the target with their knuckles, and you feel them through the glove. margarito isn't a massive puncher and cheated, but the rhetoric is still something you hear in cases where gloves weren't loaded.
You got to love how the CUCARACHAS come out thier **** holes to discredit any and all PR boxers or when the cheating POS is mentioned.
An embarrassing to boxing, I cant believe how the Boxing Scene management, and moderating team allows such of bland disrespect, arrogance and overall unsportsmanship these cucarachas display each and every day.
I'm still pretty pissed for being banned for a week for calling out one of these POS Cucarachas!
Well i just want to know what happened to his power, he was flattening guys then he became a pitty patter who couldn't bust through wet toilet paper.
The seemingly drop in power came with his move up in weight.
Wasn't really a loss in his power, just fighting bigger guys who could take his power. At 147 he stopped 26 of his 29 wins. NDou being one of those he didn't knock out, but he has 13 losses with 0 KO's, losses include Canelo, Cotto, Witter.
