Puerto Rican boxing future

Lets also not forget that those fights were back in the ***ing 90's!!! Seriously bringing up Tito from 20 years ago is so pathetic!!! What have you done for me lately Puerto Rico????Anybody can demolish anybody with cement in their wraps. Ask Hopkins what happened! Lmfao. The dude was a cheat. After he got exposed by B Hop, Triniwraps was useless.
Btw, PR Boxing is dead! How many champions do you have??? Lmfao.
I just owned you like Mikey owned Martinez & Juan Maricas. Shaooooooo!

Here is the link to the article:Way too many disteactors in the island. Really, there are few and far the ones who are really dedicated to the sport. La jodeera, el pariseo, all the ganster wana be and much more are killing the sport of boxing.
As a matter of fact today, El Nuevo dia pulished a three part article outlining the or at least some of the reasons on why PR boxing in the way its right now. Great read!
It talks about boxer and trainer diversity, were the are not seeking better opposition in the amateurs other than just Dominican, no European or USA, very limited experience with the traineers who are not seeking to expand thier knowhow by spending time in mexico, cuba, usa, etc.
It talks about management teams/promotional companies not looking out for the boxers only want to make money. Not developing the guys right, etc.
Great article, I recomend it.
As far as the future hold, Im counting on Verdejo! Kidd has potential but Im NOT convinced by his unknown trineer with ZERO profesional exerience.

Nah man Mexico aint got shiet to do with it. seriously? U got two Boriquas from your block who are standing tall for us. So I think your comment is way off base.
Boxing in general has made the transition to the 21st century in all facets of the game including questionable supplements supplementing the surge. hopefully our prospects resist the urge to take short cuts and beginning inhaling miracle shakes that increase their strength exponentially!!Comment

good read. I would add that kids on the island have opted to use their minds instead of their fists to make a living. Options are available the same cannot be said about the current countries producing a lot of prospects. I liken it to Dominicans and the MLB.Way too many disteactors in the island. nah bro, you're making it more cumbersome than it really is. mexico has handed us our asses for the last 10 years in devastating fashion. our wins against mexican champs have been too sporadic to rest on.Nah man Mexico aint got shiet to do with it. seriously? but, we got some good talent coming up the ranks and like everything else in life ... things go in phases. i mean, me? i'd a thought being a mexican boxing fan in mid to late 90's would have ****** when we had our boy tito doing the damn thing. that man single handedly handed mexico their ass.
but just like that atrociously fat ******, pistol whip, alluded to up there - what's pr done lately.

Indeed the rivalry has been one sided. I have given credit because its due. But just don't agree with that blanket statement that dude made as the cause of our decline currently being attributable to anything Mexico has done. It is more about what we haven't done.nah bro, you're making it more cumbersome than it really is. mexico has handed us our asses for the last 10 years in devastating fashion. our wins against mexican champs have been too sporadic to rest on.

Attempting to claim that we aint never gonna be back is as asinine as what anything that piss whip and his homeboys spew day in and day out...so i agree bro. we hurting but like just like in the MLB, we are declining there allegedly as well but then recently we had the #1 pick.. so i aint worry bro. Verdero has good signs on his him.. "big Paws on that puppy"Comment
