Neither fighter was drained, Canelo was a great win imo as was Cotto for Manny. And 'kind of gay'? I seem to recall you and the rest of team spastic saying for years that Cotto was drained even though he said he wasnt.

hes fast, and poses a major threat to floyd. this fight is just what boxing needs. i hope its on ppv so i can continue supporting the money team. The best thing its also on may 4th YES, itwill probably have a strong undercard with mexicans and if it sells floyd can take all the credit.

IMO neither made much difference. But they're not on level ground, since only one of these guys spat on another for requesting it, and discounted his dominant win. Nobody likes a CW, but CW + hypocrisy is worse. There's a few more reasons why Floyd's request was worse, but this is enough for now.

Remember, it's the intent that counts. Clearly they were hoping Canelo comes in drained, hence the humiliating request. And if Cotto was drained, Canelo showed more signs of drainage.

the only thing I said was i agreed with ellerbee then and that it would be the same for floyd.

MY point still stands-floyd/ellerbee and whatever they said about cotto v manny should have no bearing on an opinion herobando has on floyd v canelo.

At the end of the day, both fights happened at cws and both fighters manny, and Floyd, still get the appropriate level of credit for it as far as I'm concerned. If ppl wanna sit here and argue semantics, they are doing that because they clearly favor one fighter over the other. In the end both manny and Floyd are hypocrites. That is also true. But it is also true both wins were very good wins against world level top ranked fighters. The cotto win has things that can be nitpicked about just as well as the Caneko win. I just find it funny that u guys like to argue about which win counts more as if there's a way to make it fact and not opinion.

But you bringing in Marg does is immaterial to the argument we're having. Which is that Floyd discounts Pac's Cotto win due to the CW. The same criteria would discount his own Canelo win. It's not like I called Floyd a hypocrite for loading his own gloves while putting down Marg, get it? I don't believe you had a point in mind, just trying to create a diversion, obvious tactics.

Bud, when I registered here the Cotto CW was the #1 topic here. for about 3 years it was the dominant topic on this board, with a 100 page thread comparing the request to Al Qaeda terrorism. Floyd got off very easy, especially taking into account his massive hypocrisy on the subject.
