Both these two have a style we won't see Mayweather fight. We knew he wouldn't fight them so this isn't news.

With the exception of Timothy Bradley, the winner of Trout vs Lara would be more deserving of a fight with Floyd more than anyone else. Its a shame that boxing is now all about money. The guys who have worked their buts off to get to the top spot are denied a fight with the top guy because they don't have a big following. Well, what's the purpose of participating in the sport if you can't fight to be the best??? Floyd has enough money to take care of his great great great grand kids. Why not fight the best opponents available to prove you are the best instead of just saying it by beating C level opposition??? Floyd's most dangerous fights would be against Bradley, Lara, Trout, Broner, Alexander, and Porter. What do those guys have in common??? Well...that's why Floyd won't be fighting them! To me, until he beats at least 2 of those guys, he is only living off of his name and reputation. We don't know if he is still "that guy" because he is defeating C level fighters that are tailor made for him. I am a Black Man that loves Floyd as a fighter, but you can't keep saying you're the best ever if you are not fighting the best guys in your weight class. Right???

Guess u forgot about the Paul Williams robbery. And how is vanes getting a cut and not continuing Lara's fault ? Barley survived until he made angulo quit. Your hating ,Lara has skills.

floyd is fighting and beating the best guys in his division. it greatly irritates me to see posters always making a argument about floyd going higher and higher up in wt to fight 160lbers and higher. but you never see them make the same demands of pac. he is fighting a 140lber and no one is complaining that he should at least face a true ww in his next fight and not a jr ww who just loss his last fight. pac refused to fight yuri forman for ther jr mw belt. insted he fought margarito when neither one of them earned the right to fight for that belt. neither one ever fought at jr mw so how can they fight for that title? they did not earn it.

the styles of rout/Lara make no sense 4 FM, plus a guy that loses 3 1/2 pounds after the weighin, going in @ 146 vs Alvarez, has no business @ JMW...

No way in hell does Mayweather vs Trout/Lara generate enough money to pay Floyd the guaranteed purse of about $30 million, pay Floyd's opponent, pay the undercard fighters, and for Showtime to break even. It will be Mayweather-Guerrero but worse. The money that will be put into the fight in promotion
                    won't come back.
                    Here's a deadlock...
Unless GBP can produce a Loch Ness Monster to fight Floyd, they're in deep trouble with fulfilling the rest of the huge contract they have signed Floyd for...
