Just watched Sky Sports: Gloves Are Off - Middleweights. Martin Murray and Andy Lee picked Groves. Matt Macklin and Darren Barker picked Froch.

Macklin and Barker have both sparred Froch and said he is a sickening puncher, and that's with 16oz gloves on. They don't believe Groves will be able to take those shots, and I'm inclined to agree. Groves may well out box Froch at times, but I believe Froch is going to nail him at some point and he'll finish it.

I really thin Groves rushed this fight with too much confidence under his bonnet that he's going to KO Froch.
I think he will make Froch look old and clumsy at times, but I think groves will end up getting drowned and stopped when his feet are off the ground in the deep water with Froch

I think this will be a better fight than most expect. Groves can box and punch and does some things really well in the ring. Gotta go with Froch overall though.

Groves will win and his opinion it wont be an upset because

Groves hasn't come across too great in this pre-fight build up.

In his fight against degale he had the crowed on his side. He made degale look arrogant and ****ey before the fight. In this match against Carl I can see the crowed being heavily weighed against him.

For a start his logic is just moronic.

In one interview when asked if Froch was the best fighter in the UK he insisted he wasn't, but then said he couldn't come up with a winner off the top of his head. In another he said Froch isn't a PPV star in the UK and Froch wouldn't be on PPV now if it wasn't for him. Then there was that adolescent insult on ringside where he said that Froch was about to cry.

I don't see how he's endearing himself to anyone in the UK who are quite proud of the achievements of Froch.
