if he stays busy he can do it.
Can GGG beat the executioners record 20 defences?

Can he get 11 or 12 more 160 pounders to fight him?!?...that's the question atm....I don't see a MW who can beat him right nowComment

Of course he could.
Almost anyone who's a top level fighter can defend their title a long list of times depending on who the opponents are.Comment

If he stays at MW, easily. BPoop's MW reign was just as bad as GG's if not worse. Robert Allen 47x, Hakar, Echols, and welterweights Tito and Oscar. LMAOComment

If he stays at 160 he can have 30 successful defensesGennady Golovkin has made 9 successful defences of his WBA title and has his 10th defence booked in for February. With him fighting 4 times a year do you think it is possible for him to break 'the executioners' record 20 defences? It wasn't untill Hopkins' 13th defence that he unified the WBC strap with his ibf title. It wasn't untill he beat Felix 'Tito' Trinidad in his 14th defence that he won The Ring middleweight title and became recognised as The Lineal champion.
Can GGG make 11 more successful defences? Can he get Martinez in the ring within the next 5 fights and can he beat Hopkins record of Lineal title defences?
Thoughts?Comment

Guerrero wasn't fast enough to get out of the way of bum Aydin's punches. He was reeling vs a guy 150 fight night, with 64 inch reach. Guerrero's last full title came at 130, and even that was a paper belt. This guy landed 120 punches on Floyd, doesn't bode well against a murderer like GGG. But what does bode well for you is that Floyd wouldn't take that fight in a million years.Comment
