The Black Panther, former WBC cruiser champ (98-01) and WBC heavyweight contender (09) Juan Carlos Gomez, 52-3, 40 years old and again down to cruiserweight, will have the second fight of his comeback on November 23 at the CU Arena on the outskirts of Hamburg. Opponent has yet to be announced. This will also be Gomezīs second fight in November as he fought November 1 in Dachau. Businessman and sometimes professional boxer Ismail Oezen co-headlines. All in all there will be eight fights on the bill.

He seems pretty determined, he knows he doesn't have much time left I guess he is shooting for Wlodykfortmmgmgnmn and the WBC title.

Im sad to say it but Gomez is done. He will never beat anyone with a pulse in the ring. I saw a sparring session against a guy who just turn pro and he was toying with gomez in there and even hurt him so bad that the coach had to tell him to take it easy on him, sad but true.

Chakhiev is no champion so i doubt Gomez will fight him. He will fight 2-3 C and maybe B-Level opponents and will propably fight one of the betholders after that. You dont need to do much to become mandatory at cruiserweight because there are not manny good fighters. Sure the Top10 is strong but Top20 and top30 is a joke @ cruiserweight.
