He does have a point. Vanes doesn't have a great, or even good resume of fighters. A lot of the fighters were simply low level fighters. He's fighting guys who were 24-10, 28-11, 26-7, 18-5. Not the greatest comp by any stretch of mind.

Bob's Brutal... dropped Gesta after he lost

Gesta was absolutely terrible. Vanes is not so good either but IMO P4P he's better than Gesta.

Vanes is close to but not quite in Gesta's situation. Even though they both lost their title fights at least Vanes is active, albeit against low level comp and has a long work relationship with the Wild Card gym. Gesta just plain never fought; as to why I don't know if that was TR not giving him fights or Gesta not being interested in fighting.

Well, can't blame him he had a chance at a paper title which could have got him some tv fights and just shutdown and didn't do anything in the latter part of it so he has to do something to get himself meaningful fights or just be in boxing limbo.
