Edwin Rodrigez D- type of fighter, doesnt know what jab is, uses forbidden punches on the back of the head, misses too much. And strange that nobody criticize that.

Ward spent 12 rounds with him, Kovalev would destroy him before 3 or 4

Dunno about all that...Broner is stationary. Fighters that have had success against Maidan have been mobile or they caught Maidana when he was less well-rounded, i.e, Alexander and primed Khan. Broner is stationary and Maidana will eventually find a way to land. Broner will realize that these punches hurt more than in past fights.

Broner is one of the best at protecting his head. I don't see Maidana getting to him there. He'll have to work the body hard imo.

Maidana isn't so slow that he can't land shots, f ucking hell talk about underrating Chino. Maidana always lands his shots, maybe except for Devon but that was his worst Performance and he had no Main trainer on fight night and for the last 4 weeks of fight camp.

Garcia and Ariza will make sure the Best Maidana shows up on DEC 14th

Before the fight Rodriguez was NOT considered a D -type fighter. Ward puts on a clinic and wins the fight easily and now Rodriguez is garbage. Ward is back and I didn't see any ring rust. He won nearly every round in a dominant effort, good stuff from Ward.

As amateur Edwin Rodriguez never fought in international level. He does not know what jab is. For me p4p is US biased ranking. Klitcho for example has much more titles and defends. You can say it is not titles, it is exciting that p4p boxers brings. Ok but why Timothy Bradley was almost destroyed in 2 rounds by Provodnikov. Rigoundaux or Kovalev is much more exciting to watch than Andre Ward to my mind. But HBO wants to quit Rigoundaux and Kovalev is not given opponents like Bernard Hopkins or Adonis Stevenson.

What?! They where all over the Gamboa hype train.

They haven't been pushing Rigo b/c he can and will get the pace of a fight to an absolute crawl.

I thought Ward did great. When you consider the long layoff, coming back from an and injury and Rodriguez coming in overweight. Ward got the job done in dominating fashion!!!

Rodriguez is a real good fighter but Ward made him look average.
