How did he miss weight? You can lose 4lbs in the sauna in an hour.

    What a waste of money.

This guy lost 28lbs in 24 hours: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/ar...k-nothing.html

Rodriguez can't lose 2lbs? Ward semi-predicted this would happen, he was talking about seeing Rodriguez's gut not long ago. It's his own fault.

That's draining the body pretty hard.
Shoot, when I had to lose a couple of pounds the day before a weigh in... I would feel so tired and depleted. Plus I felt sluggish after putting some of it back on.

That's just me though, and a different sport (wrestling). But for me it was all same day weigh in.

My point...he probably could have, but he might have been dehydrated already by that point and cutting off those last few pounds can suck sometimes

Eff it though, it's a million dollars. Equivalent of a lottery win. Forget the fight, for that money he should be willing to go the extra mile so to speak. To lose $200,000 over 2lbs must be heartbreaking and imo he's a fool if he doesn't make weight in the morning.

They said he was so drained that he couldn't even spit.

Probably haven't drank water for a while, spit it out, sweat it out... all that.
Shoot, I'd dehydrate for a day, run and sweat out and I'd still be able to spit in a bottle

Question: So... Rodriguez cant weigh more than 180 on tomorrows weigh in BUT can he rehydrate above that after it? Or how does it work?

Think it's just for tomorrow morning... but that means he still has to be conscious about his weight tonight
