It's really pathetic that people are shitting on Arum donating 1 million to those in need. It's even more pathetic knowing there are numerous Golden Boy shills who post here. If Arum hadn't donated any money at all no one would even be complaining or care in the first place.

It's good to hear Arum is donating money to the victims.. But what about doing something for the sport which has made him a multi millionaire and donating to the Magomed Abdusalamov fund... You know the fighter he promoted and who's family has no income now that he may never wake up again, let alone box!!

ARum gave something so he deserves credit. But $23k- that seems a little sad.

But lets all be nice and thankful that Bob sent money to people in need.
At the end of the day, sending $23K represents what the Filipino community truly mean to him!
That's all i'm saying. He made 10s of millions of dollars from the Philippine community through Pacquao, and when the opportunity presents itself to give back, he gives them $23k in a time of crisis.

Donating $23k when the damage is in the billions is akin to putting a small band aid on a stab wound to the jugglar vein.

yea man..at first i thought it was a million dollars and thought 'geez, ok...PAC has loaded your account for the past 10 years'

then i find out it's in pesos?

You boys hating on Arum?! I'm surprised that greedy little man chucked the Philippines a token gesture.

No doubt about it. When you step back and put it into perspective, it's equivalent to a person who makes minimum wage donating the equivalent to a take of gas. Average Joe fills up a Toyota while Bob fills up a jet. Its all about perspective.

Bob donating $23K is exactly what I would expect from him though. At least he donated, however it's a mere smack in the face rather than a token of appreciation and/or concern.

At the end of the day, US Military are already there and dropping millions of dollars (not pesos) to support them.

Yep. So much hatred for the US Military around the globe but its service members are always eager to lend a hand when needed. I've got family in Guam in the AF and they're already restless about not getting called in to help.
