I've heard the same about his father's insistence that he be moved slowly. But the iron is hot at 160, and anyway, the guy came into the pro ranks at a pretty advanced level. The management of his career to this point seems to have ******ed his progress. At the very least, it's becoming counterproductive.
Does anybody else still have faith in Korobov?

I'm actually secretly Korobov and I need people to keep me in mind. So I constantly post threads about myself so people won't forget me... is it working?

I'm fighting again on the Rigo/Agbeko card.....be sure to tune inComment

Plenty of faith in Korobov, IDK if it's Arum or his dad that's stalled his career (or the never specified injury issues he may or may not have had) but someone's f#kked up in style.
I have something of a theory that Arum didn't want him in the limelight when Jr was his MW star, but I can't see any reason at all for not moving him along now.
The kid ain't always exciting and doesn't always go in for the kill when he could, but barely ever loses a round. TBH outside of GGG there ain't another MW I'd confidently pick against him.
There was some mention of him fighting GGG in the new year, but while it'd be a great fight, careerwise it doesn't make sense for either - I'd much rather see Korobov built a little more firstComment

After being unproductive last year... the four fights this year got the wheels rolling. I'm hoping that he can start strong in 2014 and Arum starts using him more seeing as that's the only MW he has now (well Murata will only have 2 fights by then)I've heard the same about his father's insistence that he be moved slowly.
